A Closer Look at My Practice as a Traditional Witch

Over the years, I have had many people ask me questions about my craft and how I practice. Some are simply curious, while others want to better understand the work I do before requesting ritual services. Because the word “witch” carries many different meanings depending on who you ask, I thought it would be helpful to explain my path clearly and directly.
I practice traditional witchcraft, and my work is rooted in nearly three decades of personal experience with the craft. So this post explains what that means, how I approach my work, and what clients should understand when working with me.
My Path in Witchcraft
Witchcraft has been a part of my life for most of my life. It is not something I discovered recently or adopted because it became popular online. My practice developed slowly over many years through study, personal experience, and direct work with ritual and energy.
For me, witchcraft is not a trend, an aesthetic, or a performance. It is a craft and a practice that requires patience, discipline, and respect. Over time, my work evolved into what it is today. I now share my practice through ritual work, readings, guidance, and spiritual mentoring for those who seek support in their situations.
What “Traditional Witch” Means
When I describe myself as a traditional witch, I am referring to a craft-based path rather than a religion.
Traditional witchcraft focuses on:
ritual work
intention and focused energy
natural forces and elements
spiritual awareness and guidance
practical spellcraft
It is not based on trends, social media labels, or modernized interpretations of witchcraft.
My work is shaped by personal experience with the craft and the understanding that spiritual work requires patience, respect, and responsibility.
I Am Not Wiccan
Another question I receive often is whether I am Wiccan. The answer is no.
Wicca is a modern pagan religion with its own structure, traditions, and religious beliefs. While some Wiccans practice witchcraft, witchcraft itself is not limited to Wicca.
My practice is not religious in nature. I do not follow a specific religious system, and I do not worship gods or goddesses.
My work focuses on the craft itself, requesting that the spirit guides and universe bring forward this energy, rather than religious devotion.
Do I Work With Deities?
This is another common question. I do not worship or work with specific gods or goddesses in my practice.
Instead, my work focuses on:
universal energy
the natural elements of the earth
celestial cycles and timing
spiritual awareness and guidance
Every practitioner’s path is different. Some witches work closely with deities, while others focus on the energetic and spiritual aspects of the craft itself.
My practice is energetic and spiritually based, not religion-based.
Understanding the Ritual Work I Offer
The ritual work I perform for clients is carefully customized around the intentions they share with me. Each ritual is approached thoughtfully, with attention to the energy surrounding the situation and the intentions involved. My goal is to support the client’s focus and direct energy toward the outcome they are seeking.
I offer different forms of ritual work depending on the circumstances involved.
This includes both white and black magic. Both forms of work are approached professionally and responsibly when performed for clients. The purpose is always to assist the individual seeking help and to support the intentions they bring forward.
Ritual work requires effort, focus, and respect for the process. It is never something I approach casually.
My Approach to Clients and Their Situations
When someone chooses to work with me, I approach their situation with care and respect. Every person comes to the craft for different reasons. Some are seeking clarity, others are navigating difficult relationships, personal challenges, or important life decisions.
My role is to provide ritual work, guidance, and insight based on the experience I have developed over many years of practicing the craft. I approach each situation honestly and professionally, and I never make unrealistic claims, promises, or guarantees about spiritual work. Instead, I focus on performing the work carefully and supporting the energy surrounding the intentions shared with me.
Why I Share My Craft
Sharing my craft with others is something I take seriously. It is always a privilege for me to apply my experience and practice in ways that may help someone move forward in their situation. When I perform ritual work for a client, it is done with genuine focus and respect for both the craft and the person requesting assistance.
My hope is always that the work I perform contributes in some meaningful way to the spiritual and energetic circumstances surrounding their situation.
Witchcraft means different things to different people, but for me it has always been a practice rooted in experience, discipline, and respect for the craft itself.
I do not present my work as entertainment or as part of a trend. It is simply the path I have followed for most of my life.
