Telekinesis became popular during the spiritualism era. Mediums, researchers and parapsychologists tried to study it in controlled settings. Some people became known for supposedly moving objects with their minds, although much of it was debated. Science has never confirmed telekinesis as a proven ability, but it has never fully explained consciousness either. The mind is still one of the most unexplored areas of human existence. In witchcraft, we focus on energy rather than physical force. Most witches do not practice telekinesis the way movies show it. Instead, we work with intention, visualization, and energy flow. Some people try to influence candle flames, pendulums, or small objects through focused energy. None of this is guaranteed, and it is not something most witches consider a standard part of the craft. It is simply an exploration of energy control. If someone wants to experiment with telekinesis, it always starts with strengthening the mind. Meditation helps with focus. Energy work helps you sense and direct subtle energy. You start with very small, lightweight objects and practice visualization. Whether or not it leads to physical movement, it still strengthens your ability to direct intention, which is the foundation of magical work.

Most witches view telekinesis as a mystery rather than a skill to master. Not everything in the unseen world needs to be proven or replicated. Sometimes the value is in the exploration itself. Working with energy, building focus and deepening your connection to your own mind are all beneficial, even if objects never move.

Telekinesis may not be something every witch can do, or even wants to do, but the curiosity around it has always been part of our larger relationship with energy and the unseen. If you ever explore it, do so with patience, groundedness and realistic expectations. Let it be a practice in awareness rather than a goal to chase.
