Important Notice: Impersonation & Scam Accounts

There has been a significant increase in scam accounts and impersonation profiles online, especially within the spiritual and metaphysical community.

I have already written an article discussing the issue of people being scammed when seeking spiritual services online, and I encourage everyone to read that article if you have not already.

Unfortunately, this problem continues to grow across many platforms.

Because of this, I want to make something very clear and very direct.

I am not on Etsy, and I am not selling my services through ANY third-party platforms.

I own both www.thehourofwitchery.com and www.thehourofwitchery.ca for clear transparency.

My Website Is the Only Place to Work With Me

My official website is the only place where you can purchase services or work directly with me.

That is the only legitimate source.

I do not sell services on:

• Etsy

• Fiverr

• TikTok shops

• Instagram pages

• Facebook listings

• Third-party marketplaces

• Any other external platforms

The only external platforms I use are my social media accounts, which are linked directly from my website, and those are used for content and updates only. I do not sell on social media platforms, and if you contact me, I will always direct you to my website for business inquiries. Additionally, there is the Spaces app for download from my website as another method of purchasing through my site.

If you encounter any other page, account, listing, or website claiming to be me or claiming to represent my work, it is not me.

Impersonation Has Happened Before

This is not something I encounter frequently, but it has happened a couple of times in previous years.

There have been instances where people contacted me asking if a certain Instagram page, TikTok account, Facebook page, Etsy listing, or Fiverr profile was mine.

When I investigated, those pages had:

• Copied my biography

• Stolen photos of my altar and ritual work

• Used images of me

• Attempted to pose as my business

This is impersonation, and it is taken very seriously.

If you ever come across something like this, please do two things immediately.

Report the account on the platform where it appears.

Then contact me directly through my website and let me know so I can investigate it. Please provice screen shots and as much information as you can.

A Note on Investigation

Something many people do not realize is that I am also a licensed private investigator.

Because of this, I have the ability to conduct my own research and investigation into individuals who attempt to impersonate me or misuse my business identity.

If someone is posing as me, stealing my work, or using my registered business name fraudulently, I will investigate the situation, involve other investigators if needed, and pursue the appropriate actions if necessary.

In some cases, that may simply involve reporting the account and having it removed.

In other cases, legal action may be required, especially when someone is impersonating my business or me and/or attempting to financially benefit from it.

Protect Yourself and Your Energy

My priority is making sure that anyone who chooses to work with me is actually working with me. I take my business extremely seriously. I also take great pride in my spiritual practice and the work that I share with others across the world.

Everything I have built has taken years of dedication, discipline, and hard work.

I will not take lightly to anyone attempting to damage that by impersonating me or stealing my work.

Not only is that deeply disrespectful toward my business and me, but it is also disrespectful toward the craft itself.

People who behave that way eventually face the consequences of their actions, one way or another, whether it be karma, spiritual backlash, or legitimate legal action.

If You See Something, Say Something

If you ever encounter a page, account, or listing that appears to be impersonating me:

1. Report it on the platform immediately

2. Contact me through my website to notify me

Your help in bringing these things to my attention makes it easier for me to address them quickly. Again, the only place you can work directly with me is through my website.
