Kitchen Magic Does Not Have to Look Like Spellwork
A reminder for those who feel unsure in the kitchen or think they are not “witchy enough” to practice kitchen magic. Kitchen magic is not about complicated recipes, rare ingredients, or elaborate rituals. It is about intention, repetition, and care.
Making tea when you are tired is kitchen magic. Cooking a warm meal when you need grounding is kitchen magic. Adding herbs or spices because they feel comforting or familiar is kitchen magic.
If you want to be more intentional, you can stir clockwise while focusing on nourishment, calm, or warmth. You can choose ingredients that feel supportive to your body that day. You can cook slowly instead of rushing. Nothing needs to be spoken aloud. Nothing needs to be labeled as a spell.
The kitchen is one of the oldest sacred spaces. Feeding yourself is already an act of magic. <3
