Community Remembrance & Ancestral Altar
You may contribute a copy of a photograph of a deceased loved one, pet, or ancestor to become part of The Hour of Witchery’s memorial and remembrance work.
Your contribution may be placed on a Community Remembrance Altar within Avanjia's Home, including special ancestral and Samhain altar work where appropriate.
What I Need From You
Before mailing anything, please provide:
- Your name
- The name of the person or pet being remembered
- Your relationship to them
- Any short dedication, message, or remembrance you would like included
- A brief description of what you will be sending
Please send a copy only. Never send an original or irreplaceable photograph.
All memorial contributions must be approved before mailing.
How the Contribution Process Works
Once approved, you will privately receive The Hour of Witchery’s business mailing address and shipping instructions.
Please do not send anything until you have received approval.
All shipping costs are the contributor’s responsibility. Tracked shipping is required. Any insurance, customs fees, duties, tariffs, brokerage charges, taxes, or other carrier/government charges are also the sender’s responsibility.
Memorial Contributions
IMPORTANT MAIL-IN INFORMATION
Memorial contributions are voluntary gifts to The Hour of Witchery and are not charitable donations or purchases of a spiritual service.
Only copies of photographs or other replaceable memorial materials should be sent. Do not send original photographs, ashes, cremated remains, biological material, or irreplaceable keepsakes.
Submission does not guarantee public display, photography, or inclusion in any particular Sabbat or ritual.
The Hour of Witchery will not publicly share identifiable memorial material without separate permission.
The Hour of Witchery is not responsible for contributions that are lost, stolen, delayed, misdirected, or damaged while in transit.
The private mailing address is authorized only for your approved contribution and may not be shared, published, distributed, reused, or provided to another person.
